Interested in winning a YYCfit VIP Package valued at over $1,000? All you have to do is stop by one of the upcoming YYCfit pop-up events and enter our draw. We’ll be drawing for the winner on May 9th.

Here is a list of current scheduled pop-up events (note dates, are subject to change, please follow our social media accounts to ensure access to the most up-to-date information on pop-up events):
• Wednesday, April 19th – we’ll be at the Running Room, Glenmore Landing, at 6:00 pm, discussing YYCfit with their Run Club and taking entries for the draw
• Saturday, April 22nd – we’ll be at the Onesie Run handing out water and taking entries for the draw
• Saturday, April 29th – we’ll be at Lake Louise for their ‘Shake the Lake’ event, handing out hot chocolate and taking entries for the draw, between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm
• Tuesday, May 2nd – we’ll be at the Stephen Ave Farmers Market, from 11:00 am – 1:30 pm

During these summer months, what better way than to take a dip in the pool to get some exercise?

  3. Post-Secondary institutions in Calgary also offer public swimming. Check out the SAIT Aquatic Centre, Mount Royal University and the University of Calgary Aquatic Centre websites to get started!

Who hasn’t been flipping through the sports networks, or surfing fitness channels on YouTube, and come across footage of hulking men dragging vehicles, overhead pressing logs, tossing a keg or flipping giant tires. Would you like to see these men, and women, live and in action? Enter the YYCfit Western Canadian Strongman Classic, running in conjunction with the show May 13 & 14, 2017. Strongman athletes from all across Western Canada will converge at the show to compete, and YYCfit attendees get to watch these powerhouses engaged in mind-boggling feats of strength! YYCfit is thrilled to welcome Robin O’Grady to the YYCfit Expo Advisory Committee.  Robin began her career in health and wellness in 2003. Since then Robin has been dedicated to teaching health and fitness and her contagious energy and positive outlook has ensured she excelled in all areas.

Along with being a passionate Group Fitness Instructor, she owns the Mindset Performance Center Alberta. Additionally she runs an annual apprenticeship program, mentoring new instructors into the AFLCA.  Robin has become a regular Presenter and Educator at facilities and conferences across North America and is proud to be a Certified Mindset Coach, Master Trainer for Lebert Fitness, Bender Ball and Assistant Trainer for the AFLCA.

Robin is a dedicated educator and with her positive energy and radiant smile Robin’s sessions are always uplifting and inspiring!  Welcome aboard Robin, looking forward to making expo magic with you!
